Cubby's Musical Workshop by Little Robot Friends
Discover interactive technology with a little robot named Cubby! Cubby is outfitted with lights, sounds, and a variety of sensors to help bring coding and computing concepts to life. Learn how Cubby works by playing with the 'bot and discovering what it can do. Then, it's your turn with the tools! Learn to program expressions for Cubby using lights and sounds, then contribute some musical beeps and boops to our collaborative Musical Cubby Choir.
All are welcome; curiosity and imagination are encouraged!

Shadow & Light: Families Create with Projection & Puppetry by Maziar Ghaderi
Shadow & Light is a playful, hands-on workshop for adults and children ages 6-13, where participants create their own shadow puppets and characters, then bring them to life through light, projection and storytelling. Working together, families will make simple figurines, experiment with movement and shadow, and create a short scene or mini-performance to share on the main stage. It's a chance to make something together, play with light and imagination, and leave with a fun experience to remember—and capture. No prior experience is required and a laptop is optional. The workshop is created and facilitated by Maziar Ghaderi, Sarah Ahmadieh and Ivan Ceria.

Fishing for Compliments by stormwhy
Madeline "stormwhy" Hanitijo (they/she/he) is a queer, Chinese-Canadian digital artist, game developer, and creative technologist based in Toronto with a passion for game engines and DIY electronics. Their piece, Fishing for Compliments, is a fishing mini-game played with an unorthodox controller: a physical fishing rod! This piece is based on their love of the humble fishing mini-game, which is short, sweet, and positively unnecessary. Fishing for Compliments provides a much needed solace from whatever you are supposed to be doing. Ripple Effect, the theme of this year's MULTIfest, is present in the waters which Otis the Bat fishes out of, and also in how whimsy, play, and rest are key elements that permeate all aspects of one's life.
